Gift #506- Double Birthday Trouble

Happy 9th Birthday Sam and Macy.
We celebrated with lunch at Jan Jakas, pancakes and bacon for dinner, and 2 cakes for dessert- red velvet and chocolate!  It was a delicious birthday!  Sam asked if he could skip being 9 and go straight to 10.  He wants to get his military id so he can go buy candy all by himself.  I want him both of them to stay 9 forever!

Gift #502- Having the Best Seat in the House

AG has commandeered Henry's car seat and has made it her living room recliner!  Macy found a bungee cord, hooked it to the handle and used it as a string to rock the seat!  AG is a tiny bit rotten!

Gift #501- Our Three-Week Old

And before we can blink, he is 3 weeks old!

Gift #500- Our Two-Week Old

Gift #499- Playing In the Snow

Avery Grace LOVES being outside!  She is going to be an adventurer like her daddy.  Her daddy is very happy about that.  We had a light snowfall last week and AG couldn't even wait to get her shoes on before she headed out the door!

Gift #498- My favorite 14-Year-Old!

Happy 14th Birthday to you Jack!  We love you so much and we are so proud of the young man that you are becoming!  This year you requested a Buttermilk cake like Mrs. Savarese makes.  I don't think that mine was as good as hers, but you never complained!  You rarely do.  Thanks for being wonderful you!

Gift #497- A First Warm Bath

Henry didn't exactly love his first bath.  He made sure to let me know it!  But I sure enjoyed snuggling with him afterwards when he was warm and smelled so sweet!

Gift #496- Relaxing with Dad

Gift #495- Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas this year.  For our Christmas Eve dinner, Hank prepared a Yakiniku meal for us.  We ate outside by the fire.  We had a very happy Christmas day.  Santa was good to all.  Hank made pulled pork and bratwurst for Christmas Dinner!  It was fun doing things a little different.  The kids said that it was the best ever!  We are grateful for our 3 happy Christmases spent here in Japan.  We are grateful for the gifts that were under our tree.  We are thankful for this new baby boy that we are spending Christmas with this year.  But we are most thankful for the birth of our Savior and the hope that we have in Him.
