Pat stumbled across this postcard from Grandma. She had found a picture of this oak tree and had wanted to visit it but never got the chance. We were able to visit the tree for her!

Gift #585- Thanksgiving with Family
Pat, Jennifer, and Jackson made the long trip from Panama City to spend Thanksgiving together with us. We had a great time and were so thankful for their good company.
Gift #584- Avery Grace's New Hair Cut!
Avery Grace has always been hesitant to get her hair cut. But this time, she really wanted to go! The stylist finished cutting her hair and asked AG how she liked it. Avery said that she liked it, but that she wanted it shorter. So funny that she had such a big opinion This was the end result. Pretty cute huh?

This set of siblings were together for the first time in a very long time at Nana's funeral. Sad circumstance, but very happy reunion! Nana would have loved this picture!
This crazy set of siblings are not often able to be together either. But this year, we just all happened to be together on National Siblings Day! Terd, Pot, Kime, Barf and Amy. Ok ok, Lamy.
Gift #578- Living Close to Family
After being in Nevada for 3 years and then Japan for 3, it sure is nice to be close to family again. This sweet family drove down from Charlotte for a visit and we had such a great time together! Looking forward to many more visits!

When you are crazy enough to have chickens living on your porch, I think that it is safe to assume that, you are crazy enough! I love my fancy chicken coop- complete with working chandelier.

Gift #564- National Donut Day
Did you know that February 3rd is National Donut Day? Hank says that every day in our house is National Donut Day! Agree! Run out to Dunkin' Donuts today. It is your duty as an American citizen to celebrate this delicious national holiday!
Gift #563- A Baseball Award
Jack received the highest GPA Award at his High School Sports Awards Banquet. We won't go into the fact that he did not invite me to the banquet. Cause that is a whole different story. One that I could go on and on and on about Jack! Good Job on the award though! :0)
Gift #561- Coastal Skills Weekend
I had the opportunity to attend a Coastal Skills Clinic at Hunting Island State Park! I learned a lot about crabbing and fishing and even cast-netting! I even held a snake!!!! Jack said that I was hard core! Yes! I had a great time with some wonderful ladies and am proud of my new-found skills!

Gift #556- A Kentucky Derby Party
Hank and I went to a Derby Party at the clubhouse in our neighborhood. We had such a great time and met so many of our new neighbors. The party was complete with betting on the horses, big hats, and mint juleps!
Gift #555- A Spring Road Trip Home
Turbo sat with Henry almost the entire way. Henry drops the most crumbs!
